Former tennis star Tony Wendice (Ray Milland) discovers that his wealthy wife Margot Wendice (Grace Kelly) has been having an affair with the American crime writer Mark Halliday (Robert Cummings). Rather than accepting the situation or confronting the pair, Tony begins plotting an elaborate murder scheme, using an old acquaintance to carry out the murder itself. An extremely stylish and highly entertaining crime thriller that makes excellent use of its straightforward premise – strongly recommended.
