2020 – The DC Review Blog is a WordPress hosted blog, aimed at reviewing all things entertainment – primarily both new and old movies, with some television shows thrown into the mix too.

As a worker in the field of IT, I’ve always had a keen interest in the creation and maintenance of websites, so with that in mind, I decided to merge that passion with another two passions of mine – writing and cinema.

2022 – The initial aim when opening the site in 2020 was to try and become competent at reviewing movies and television, with a hope of building some form of glossary that could act as the foundation to the website. The very first review compiled on the website was The Mule – (2018), starring Clint Eastwood. To say writing a movie review was a learning curve would be an understatement!

2026 – As time has passed, I have become a little busier in life, particularly after having a child and streamlining many of my hobbies and interests. If truth be told, much of my time in front of the television is now spent rewatching films and television shows that I have seen before and enjoy thoroughly, rather than taking a chance on new releases, which has inevitably meant fewer new articles being published on the website.

Alongside this, I have also found myself diving headfirst into the Spaghetti Western genre, which I have been thoroughly enjoying. I have therefore, been trying to condense some of those offerings into the Spaghetti Sunday series on the website, rather than publishing full reviews for each.
