Non-Stop (2014) – Review

Bill Marks (Liam Neeson) is a highly skilled federal air marshal, traveling on a transatlantic flight from New York to London but at the same time he’s struggling to overcome his daughter’s tragic death – turning to drink as a result. While on duty, he receives a series of text messages from an apparent fellow passenger, demanding 150 million dollars to be transferred into an offshore bank account. If this isn’t done, the perpetrator promises to kill a fellow passengers every 20 minutes for the duration of the flight. Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy), a reporter living in San Francisco, struggles when his life seemingly turns upside down overnight, after digging too deep when investigating something called the “Life Foundation”. A humourous at times, yet equally as brutal movie that may not have quite lived up to heights some had initially expected.

Edge of Fear (2018) – Review

A group of home invaders, spearheaded by Jack Pryor (Robert Patrick), end up in the middle of nowhere, tormenting and attempting to murder a married Chinese couple and their friend. An absolute must for any old-school Prison Break fan as Robert Knepper, Rockmond Dunbar, Amaury Nolasco and Jodi Lyn O’Keefe all re-unite for the low budget, 2018 release, Edge of Fear. If however, you were watching this after spotting it randomly on Netflix and expecting something rather special – you’ll be left bitterly disappointed.
