Love. Wedding. Repeat (2020) – Review

When a group of friends find themselves at a beautiful, picturesque wedding in Rome, the bride’s brother, Jack (Sam Claflin), must ensure his sister’s big day goes as smoothly as planned after an angry and seemingly destructive ex-boyfriend arrives to cause chaos. He must do this while trying to juggle other troubling events that pop up too, while also attempting to find his happy ever after. A half decent production with a fairly unique premise, but probably not a movie that many will remember months from now.

Public Enemies (2009) – Review

Set in 1933, notorious bank robber, John Dillinger (Johnny Depp) and his fellow gang members are hunted by the FBI after Dillinger’s popularity begins to soar and their dangerous attacks become more frequent. Head of the FBI, Edgar Hoover (Billy Crudup), is determined to stop the gang and tasks Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale) to hunt and consequently eradicate the mob. A really interesting tale of cat and mouse played out as a feature film – certainly a good watch, despite the relatively long runtime.

While trying to claw his way out of the situation he finds himself in, he meets and begins to work with an aspiring actress, Elyse (Emily Ratajkowski). As far as low budget time filling movies go, this probably isn’t the worst out there, despite the harsh critics given by some.

Hitman: Agent 47 (2015) – Review

Rupert Friend stars as Agent 47, an international hitman, identifiable only by the barcode tattoo on the back of his head that was given to him as a child. Engineered as an almost unstoppable and emotionless killing machine, Agent 47 is tasked with confronting and eliminating the leader of a syndicate that is trying to unlock the secrets behind Agent 47’s powers to harness and create a similar kind of assassin. Not exactly the Hitman some loyal fans know and love but it’s not the worst feature film on Netflix right now.

A Quiet Place 1 (2018) – Review

Two parents must do whatever it takes to keep their children safe and as far away from the fearsome and murderous creatures that are seemingly roaming earth as possible.
